What registration period is included on my purchase?
New RV's
Your contract should state in the Vehicle Pricing section what registration period is included. Generally Kratzmann Caravans will include 12 months Queensland Registration with all new RV purchases unless you decide to not purchase the vehicle registered in Queensland due to living interstate.
Pre-Owned / Used RV's
As we provide a transfer of the existing registration you won't see a separate charge for registration. There will be a Transfer Fee charged on the contract which is included in your Total Delivered Price which means we will be transferring the remaining registration period to you. You can check the registration expiry date using Queensland Transport Online Rego Check.
If the Pre-Owned / Used RV you purchased from us does not have existing registration then we will provide you with 6 months Queensland Registration at no extra cost to the Total Delivered Price agreed upon.
Interstate Owners
If you live interstate you can still register your RV in Queensland provided you can supply a Queensland Garaging Address, otherwise, we can supply you with an Unregistered Vehicle Permit to travel back home to register it in your home state. It is advisable to register your RV in your home state to ensure you don't risk voiding insurance. Please contact your Transport Authority in your home state for more information.
